PRO’S TIP
This very difficult stroke index 5 finishing hole requires a long and straight drive over the Ravine to give you any chance of reaching the Green in 2, the 18th Fairway crosses the 6th Fairway please be mindful of shouting FORE for any shot you can not see land Left or Right! A ball going Right can be blocked out by the trees surrounding the 'bomb hole' which awaits the longer off line ball. As if the tee shot wasn't challenging enough the Beech tree 50 yards from the Green is a formidable obstacle to overcome when aiming for the putting surface which is large and quite level, par here can feel like a birdie, few expect favours from this signature finishing hole.
(Please be aware when approaching the Green of players hitting from the 2nd tee who have priority if you are short of the Green and move to the Right side of the fairway until they have all taken their tee shots, once on the Green you have priority until you have cleared the Green.
