PRO’S TIP

Consider the tee shot carefully here on this Dog leg Left hole, Stroke index 15 requires some thought, the road cuts diagonally accross the hole some 200 yards from the tee, a shot short of the road needs to be just Right of centre to best take the large Beech tree on the Right by the road out of the equation for your approach, go Left the green becomes blocked out by the Dog leg and over hanging trees, go too far Right and a copse of trees will more often than not require another sideways chip to leave you a shot in. For longer hitters carrying the road needs to be in the middle which opens up the hole considerably but do be wary of the 18th tee behind the Beech, the Green itself is flat and generous but guarded Left & Right by Bunkers, going long is not an option here as a valley awaits an over ambitious approach.
