This delightful 18 hole parkland course threads its way through magnificent mature trees and provides a challenge that is mastered by few. The Club dates back to 1898 and the historic Club House, Arley Hall, is surrounded by a 12th Century moat.
As you leave Red Rock Lane and drive down Arley Lane, you know that you are arriving at a special place. Manicured fairways, beautiful greens, fantastic views, abundant wildlife, and the tranquility. The moment you catch a glimpse of the Club House you will be aware that Wigan Golf Club is unique in the golfing world.
Wigan Golf Club is as premier golf should be, an outstanding location, great challenge and an unrivalled atmosphere on and off the course. The course and club are here to be enjoyed whenever you wish. Our policy is to restrict membership numbers to ensure that members have no need to book a tee time, they just turn up and play whenever there is no official competition. This also means that visitors will be welcomed and treated to the Wigan experience.
The Club is not just about playing golf though, it is an excellent social club. We are proud of our traditions and extend a very warm welcome to members and visitors alike.
