The Wigan & District Victory Trophy Competition - Is hosted this year by our nearest rivals Gathurst Golf Club. Their course has changed somewhat recently with quite a few additional fairway bunkers amongst the more notable of changes. Why not enjoy the day and show your support for the team, they will appreciate it and who knows you may spur them on to victory!!!!

 THE LADIES DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP - This years event is to be held at Hindley Hall Golf Club, so why not take a trip along and show your support for the Ladies team and who knows may be they will be successful - We would like to wish them the very best for the day's event.

The Open Golf Championship - returns to the home of Golf  no not Wigan but St. Andrews. Competition runs from Thursday 15th to the final day on Sunday 18th. Unfortunately we are not represented but we are sure it will be a great competition. Will the tiger tame the famous links or will we have a home winner or will Tom Watson go one better!! The dates are in your diary, the BBC are showing on TV so no excuses really.
