Visiting Party Information

We hope you enjoy your forthcoming visit to Wigan Golf Club. I can assure you of a very warm welcome, and hope the following guidelines will be helpful.

Could you telephone the Club, 14 days before the event with the proposed numbers in the party, and to finalise the menu for dinner and any other catering arrangements either for lunch or coffee and bacon sandwiches on arrival.

Pre- ordering of these would be greatly appreciated.
The Club must receive Confirmation of actual numbers for the Catering 48 hours prior to the booking. Any meals cancelled later than this, will be liable for payment.
The Clubhouse will be a Smoke Free Area from July 1, 2007

Could I kindly draw your attention to our dress code:

On your arrival please introduce yourself to the Assistant Secretary, Andrea or Steward, Stewardess, Ian and Marcia McVinnie, they will make sure your day will be enjoyable.

If your party is planning to play 9 holes in the morning followed by 18 holes in the afternoon we recommend that you play the following for the 9 holes:

Play holes 1 to 9 then follow the signs for visitors exit. Enclosed is a score card to assist you. Course planners are available to purchase from the bar at £3.50.

We do operate a scheme whereby one or two members will volunteer to assist you on arrival and again on the first tee. If such volunteers are on duty on your day, they will introduce themselves to you.

We look forward to your visit, should you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact us.
