Etiquette
Etiquette is an essential part of golf and will be a regular feature of all the future newsletters as I hope to help you understand that your etiquette on and off the course is just as important as how you play. It is therefore very disappointing that due to the behaviour of a few of our members, all Junior members are not allowed in the snooker room under any circumstances. This ruling has been made by the committee and has been forced upon them due to the condition of the room and the snooker table. I would like to think that we are better than this and would like to think that this is an isolated incident. Please remember that your behaviour is expected to be first class both on and off the course.
Here are five important points to remember when playing the course:
- Please remember to replace all divots that you make properly.
- If you play in a bunker please remember to rake it properly after you have finished.
- Once on the green, please remember to repair your pitch mark.
- When putting please take care when removing and replacing the flag.
Team Golf Wear
Our aim is for all Juniors to have at least the polo shirt of the same colour with the club logo, which they will wear when the are playing in competitions at the club and representing the club at events away from the club. We will also look to add to the shirt if it proves popular with the junior section. We will shortly be letting you know what the cost is of the polo shirt and how they can be ordered.
