Autumn Stableford CompetitionAn excellent turn out for the event was complimented with some excellent scores. The obvious star of the day was in fact Sasha Bannister. It was Sasha's first ever competitive 18 holes of golf and what an impressive round it was, After completing the first 9 holes in 51 shoots she upped her game and took only 40 shots for the back 9 against the par for the 9 which is 36 shots. An outstanding effort but not good enough on the day as Oliver McDonald shoot a gross 84 to score 47 stableford points and to beat Sasha to First Prize. Well done Oli your reward is your new handicap which will be 20, a reduction of 5 shots.

Wigan Juniors Winter League CompetitionTo help you keep your "hand in" during the Winter months, we have arranged a Winter League competition for you to take part in. It is a 9 Hole Match Play Competition based on 3/4 handicap. It is available to all Junior Members with a handicap and can be played at anytime during the Winter season. Once the games have been completed, the top 4 competitors will qualify for the Semi-Finals and the winners to the Final. If you are interested and want to play, then please put your name on the sheet in the clubhouse or contact one of the Junior organisers.
